THIS ONE IS FOR REAL

Shawn called me Friday night and said that Dennis will be broadcasting from the KNTS studios on Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday (only) a select few SF Bay Area Prager group members are invited to stop by the studios and hobnob. For those that recall the KNTS facilities and particularly the studio you'll recall that there's not much room and, hence, the small number of attendees permitted.

So for this meeting:


  • You must RSVP 'Yes' in order to attend (you can't be a 'Maybe')
  • No walk-ins allowed
  • Preference given to prior meeting attendees
  • If you say 'Yes' you will make it your moral duty to be there

Ready. Set. Go.

    Thank you for letting this newcomer join you at the studios. It was a perfect afternoon and thoroughly enjoyable to meet fellow group members and the man himself. Also nice to see the great diversity of backgrounds of the group - as Prager said on-air, many of us "are cut from a different cloth". I look forward to joining you all at future meetups.

    LATER: a dozen BAPs (Bay Area Pragarians) formed a peanut gallery in a packed auditorium for Dennis's presentation on "Why UC Berkeley Should Celebrate Israel's 60th Anniversary." DP is brilliant, thorough, powerful, and hilarious on this subject. Q&A was brisk and interesting. DO et the audio tape (DP at UCB, 4/5/8) from DPâ??s website. EVEN LATER: a handful of BAPs, GREAT food, wine and chat at â??MINT LEAFâ??, XLNT new Indian cafe (1513 Shattuck.) $5 per dish or glass of wine open til 12!

    Many among the ten+Andy who visited DP at KNTS were surprised at Dennis's easy-going, affability. "He acted like we were old friends." Someone said. Iâ??ve been fortunate to meet, and hear DP's speeches on several occasions. Knowing his warm personality is a key facet of my respect for him. If he were just a smart I'd still listen. I do not pretend to be DP's pal. I merely share this to encourage you whenever DP may "sound" aloof. He is not. Thanks to Andy, Sean (KNTS) for setting this up.
