If you're a Dennis Prager fan then this is your chance to get to know others who, like you, find Dennis to be the most compelling 3 hours on radio.

The good folks at 1220 KNTS, where Dennis' show is broadcast in the SF Bay Area, have offered up their facilities for our next meetup. We'll be serving light food and drinks (sandwiches, sodas, coffee).

* Meet and greet
* Tour of the KNTS facilities by Shawn DeAngelo, the KNTS Program Director
* New members and new faces; organization updates
* Jeopardy! -- The Prager Edition
* Muni Perzov leads: Super Duper Tuesday recap -- A 2008 Presidential Election Summary
* Mark Mallah leads: Talk Radio and "New Media": Its Importance is Totally Overblown
* Cole leads: Prager resources: web sites, podcasts, blogs, forums, oh my!
* Wrap-up and next steps

Also, we will all gather as a group to record audio snippets that the KNTS folks will send to Dennis. It'll be fun to get these on the air.

Session wraps up at 7pm. Rides to the Fremont BART station available after the event.

== UPDATED 2/13/08 ... Prizes from KNTS ==

Those guys at KNTS are really outdoing themselves. Shawn tells me that he's got some prizes that we'll be giving away at the event. They include:

Prager Coffee Mugs
Prager Mouse Pads
Prager photos, signed by Dennis

Actually, you'll have to earn them during the trivia contest and for participating in our audio snippet process. We're working out the details but chances are good you'll end up with some goodies to take home and cherish for life.

== UPDATED INFO from Shawn at KNTS ==

# KNTS is on the 3rd floor of the CitiBank building. KNTS/Salem Communications signage won?t be found outside the building.

== UPDATED BART information ==

** Use the Fremont BART station. According to Google, it's 1.2 miles from the Fremont BART station to KNTS.
** Directions from Fremont BART to KNTS
** Renee and I will provide ride from KNTS back to BART after event. (Can't do before event ... setting up.)

== UPDATED ... fee increased to $5 ==

Sorry folks but Renee and I went out to order the sandwiches, cheese, etc., and it looks like I underestimated the $$$ for this food. So my hat is in my hand for a whopping $5 at the door.

    BTW, I'll never know how I let the misspelling ("Pregardy") pass my QA checks!! (I fixed this is the next meeting.)

    We're sold out folks. We may have as many as 35 attendees. I've now capped the number so no new RSVPs can be posted.

    Hey y'all, Muni showed me his presentation and it's a knock-out. Very well structured and combines the politics of the day with Prager's perspective. It will be a sure conversation starter. Nice stuff.

    I've provided BART details today and bumped the entry fee to $5.00 to cover the food charges, which I had underestimated.

    Kent and other BART riders. My wife Renee and I would be happy to drive anyone back to the BART station after the meeting.

    For Janel and others considering BART: Yes, it appears to be walking distance between the BART station and the KNTS facility. I will attempt to get to the Fremont BART station by 4:30pm and will be recognizable by standing at least 6'3" w' gray hair, probably wearing a hat. Seems like it's about a mile over to KNTS--do check the map.

    •  Andy you're a terrific coordinator with an obvious passion for what you do. Thanks to you and all the presenters/participants!
    •  Andy did an amazing job of organizing and leading the meetup. Muni, Shawn and Cole did a superb job in their discussions and it was really great to be amongst such an intelligent and interesting group of people. I had a wonderful time and look forward to the next!
    •  Great meeting, lively and intelligent discussion, nice people. I was particularly impressed with the intelligence level of several people, including some who didn't speak as much.
    •  Really enjoyed getting together with other folks who listen to Dennis and discussing the presidential campaign. Also enjoy getting to know the folks better and meeting new people who share the values Dennis talk s about. I'm looking forward to future meetings and discussing other topics.
